Which neighborhood should I live in Singapore? The age-old question that has plagued expats for years. But fear not, for we have the answer for you! After much research (read: eating our way through the city) we've come up with a comprehensive guide to the pros and cons of living in some of the most popular neighborhoods in Singapore.




First up, River Valley: known for its proximity to the city center and its trendy restaurants and shops. The Cosmopolitan, The Arch, and The Balmain are some popular condos in River Valley with a wide range of facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, and playgrounds. Plus, if you're a foodie, you're in luck! This neighborhood is home to some of the best cafes and restaurants in Singapore like Tiong Bahru Bakery, and Open Farm Community.


Next up, Orchard: the luxury shopping and dining district of Singapore.
